| The
Caithness area includes the Royal Burgh of Wick and the towns of Thurso,
Keiss, Castletown and Lybster and the northernmost part of the British and
Scottish mainland, Dunnet Head. Other places of interest include the
Castle of Mey, formerly a retreat of the Queen Mother now used by Prince
Charles, close by is Skarfskerry Point with views of the Pentland Firth
and the Orkney Isles and to the east is John O' Groats and Duncansby
Head.
